“Il Poggio di Teo” is situated in a strategic position to visit the stunning seaside of the Argentario, in fact just at 30 Km you find the Ansedonia beach, framed by its rich pine grove.
The well-known Spa of Saturnia is at only 10 Km, with its therapeutic sulfuric waters that help treat many skin problems, its natural calcareous pools, which are always free-of-charge to everybody under the Waterfall of the old Mill.

After walking along its medieval arches, one arrives at the Orsini Castle, nowadays the town hall, where various exhibitions are hosted, together with an archeological museum of sacred objects.
Not far away you can visit Sorano and Sovana, with the Etruscan Necropolis dating back to the 4th century b.C. Sovana is a charming medieval  village with a Church, Palazzo Pretorio, alleys and houses that have been unchanged for centuries.

An unmissable place to visit is Montemerano, one of the charming towns that are considered as very important destinations for their history, cultural and artistic heritage, as well as their wine and culinary traditions that are typical of the Maremma.
